Cooktown Accommodation
Cooktown is the northernmost town on the east coast of Australia and is really the last stop when you're heading up the Cape York Peninsula. It has a long history of hospitality as James Cook had to bring the Endeavour in for repairs in 1770.
The town has come a long way since then and with the installation of a paved road into town and two flights connecting Cooktown and Cairns daily there's a range of accommodation options for all budgets and needs.
Stay at a historical pub, small B&B, resorts perfect for family getaways, self contained cabins which are ideal for those wanting to stay a little longer and budget friendly motels, caravan parks and camping grounds.
