I have been a host for over 40 years - still love it. I love to learn about other cultures.

My son, daughter-in-law and I share our lovely Mexican coloured home with others. We have had mainly students learning English over the last 2 years and now moved into the BED & BREAKFAST area.

We live just 4.5 kls from CAIRNS CENTRAL. Just a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and the around 15 minutes into the CENTRE.

We have two bedrooms - ONE WITH A DOUBLE BED and ONE WITH TWO SINGLE BEDS. We have \'real\' beds. Both rooms have fan, air-con, floor to ceiling full wall wardrobes, table, all linen supplied.

Access to kitchen - cook your own meals, lounge/dining, laundry (no dryer), bathroom and two toilets. Off-street parking. There is a fridge just for guests. 6.5 metre salt water pool, BBQ area. Wireless internet.

Airport is approx $25 for a taxi, but we are happy to pick you up if we are free.

Our neighbourhood is really quiet. We have a security gate and you have the loan of a remote (if broken or lost $90 to replace).

We ask our guests to respect each other. Be clean and tidy and clean up after yourself. Non smokers.

We love people and out guests come and go as they please. All have a front door key.

Our home has a real peace about it.
