IBS Engineering Supplies was established as a partnership in 1979 and in 1988 we designed and manufactured their first product; the Supreme Fruit Picker. This won the Manging Director Bill Seawright the Inventions of the Year Award at the 17th International Exhibition of Inventions at Geneva. New products included the Safemix Dust Applicator, the Granule Applicator, Hydraulic Pallet Stacker and the very popular Ozzy-400. In 1995 the company was recognised for new thinking, innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurial flair as well as its contribution to the progress of the local community qne in 1995 was awarded The Northern Building Society's Award for Excellence.
