About Fishing in Cairns
The Trinity Inlet offers some of the best Estuary fishing that Tropical North Queensland has to offer. With spectacular views of lush greenery and rainforest clad mountains, the Inlet provides us with over 90km of waterways to explore using our custom built 8m vessel.
The Inlet is home to a variety of fish species, including the famous Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Salmon, Gunter and Fingermark to name a few. You're also sure to spot a salt water croc or two!
Our fishing trips begin with the collection of live bait with a cast net. Catering for all experience levels, with bait and tackle supplied, our guides will teach even the most novice angler the right technique of either live, lure or fly fishing.
Our boat, powered by twin 75hp Evinrude E-tec outboards, will get to the best fishing spots fast - with a cruising speed of 25 knots and top speed of 32 knots.
