Cairns Amateurs Racing Carnival

Enjoy 4 days of fun, fashion, glamour, food and entertainment centred around 2 days of horse racing in Cairns. 

The Cairns Amateurs began as a small meeting in 1959 designed to bring the city and country together and has expanded over 50+ years to become one of Australia's premier spring horse racing carnivals. Operated by the Far North Queensland Amateur Turf Club Inc. 

The event is now complemented by a host of social activities, both formal and informal.
