Is My Lipstick On Straight?
In this delightful, heart breaking, funny one woman show written and performed by Susan Prince, we are taken on a very personal journey through life as a performer with epilepsy.
Susan takes us through her life through the eyes of the characters she has played. Each character telling us about her life behind the scenes. What drives her to create, how love, motherhood and epilepsy have all shaped her performances and vice versa. Susan has created a delightfully theatrical telling of a life in the theatre.
JUTE invites you to a post show conversation with the creative team. It's a great opportunity to discuss your response to the show, for you to ask questions about the process of creating the work and allow you to delve into the creative process!
Like a TED talk, it's only 20 minutes and you can come away knowing more about how theatre is created (the tricks of the trade), the problem solving that the creative team went through to come up with solutions, and an understanding of how these creative beings work. And of course it's a great opportunity to meet the cast after the performance.
We look forward to these conversations with you.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the show starts.
