If you know of an event that should be listed here, submit it to the site for free! To submit your event, register first and once you are logged in proceed to add a new event. All events submitted go through a screening process and will need to be approved before becoming visible on the site.

Quicksilver Reef Swim - Green Island

This unique ocean swim offers competitors a chance to swim in the sparkling waters off Green Island. This spectacular 1.5km or 3km swim has the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef below the surface. Swimming over the reef brings the delights of colourful reef fish, turtles and a variety of corals as you navigate one of the most amazing reef swims in the world.

Following the swim, competitors and spectators are invited to relax and enjoy the white sandy beaches, emerald rainforest and beautiful coral reef at Green Island.

Please note entry fees also include: choice of snorkelling equipment OR glass bottom boat coral viewing, exclusive use of island swimming pool, exclusive self guided eco island walk, use of day facilities at Green Island.

There are two options for boat return from Green Island -  12noon or 2.30pm. You will be asked for your preferred time when you register. Places on each boat will be reserved on a first come-first served basis.

All spectators (including children) are required to have a boat ticket. Please advise USM EVENTS if you are bringing a child under the age of 4 as we will organise a free of charge boat ticket for them.
