Snap the sea, see the future
Along the Queensland coast on Saturday 12 January a king tide will be visible during daylight hours. Green Cross Australia is inviting all Queenslanders to ‘witness’ the king tide and contribute to a project to track and survey the impact of king tides by taking photos and sharing them online.
King tides can demonstrate what our coast might look like in the future due to projected sea level rise.
