2013 Ride 2 Work Day
The Ride2Work Program is a nationally run, year round program that encourages thousands of Australians to get started and keep them riding to work.
Ride2Work has a strong influence in the dramatic increase of people choosing to ride to work, with an amazing 47% of new riders registered in 2012 still riding to work when surveyed five months after National Ride2Work Day, and over 10,500 commuters now riding to work more often.
Cairns Regional Council will be holding a free breakfast for bicycle commuters taking part in Ride2Work Day, 16 October 2013 at the Western Events Lawn on the Esplanade in Cairns from 6am to 9am.
If you would like to get involved with Ride2Work Day this year, register with the Bicycle Network.
