Discovering Indigenous Art in Cairns is a wonderful way to gain insight into the rich and varied history of the region. There's a vibrancy to Cairns' Indigenous Art, which you will see in a range of different mediums. These include canvas works, pottery, ceramics, woodwork, jewellery and much more. There are several notable galleries showing new and old Aboriginal works like at the famed Cairns Regional Gallery and during the annual Cairns Indigenous Art Fair.
