Daintree Tea Tree Plantation
With exceptionally high rainfall, sub tropical temperature and fertile granite alluvial red soil, the Daintree is the perfect place to grow tea. Most of these tea plantations were built in the mid 70s to 80s and are no well established and producing unique and delicious The tea plantations are an epic sea of green, undulating hills are a sight to see. Many private plantations offer tours through these working plantations and you can even score yourself some delicious leaves to brew up.
