Cairns Northern Beaches Map

Cairns Northern Beaches are located 10 to 20 minutes out of the centre of Cairns and are known for it's superior swimming beaches. If you ask any local they'll tell you that Trinity Beach is their favourite place to sun themselves and swim. Yorkeys Knob is a smaller suburb to the north of Cairns and one of it's main drawcards is the Boating Club and Half Moon Bay Marina which has a fantastic restaurant with views out to the Coral Sea, Double Island and Haycock Island. It also has a great patrolled swimming beach with gorgeous coconut plams and casuarinas lining the sand and a stinger net to protect swimmers during box jellyfish season.
